Complaints and grievances
Complaints on the activity of public administration can be lodged in connection with commissioned tasks performed by it within the scope of public administration. An object of a complaint especially may be negligence or undue performance of tasks by adequate bodies or by their employees, a breach of law and order or the interests of complainants, as well as delayed or bureaucratic handling of cases. An authority competent to handle the complaint should resolve it no later than within a month
According to the rules and regulations of the Office for Foreigners, complaints and petitions regarding the activity of the Office, as well as the voivodes’ activities in cases related to legalisation of foreigners' residence within the territory of the Republic of Poland are considered by the Department of Control and Supervision of the Head of the Office for Foreigners. There is a possibility to lodge a complaint in a written form, and it has to be sent to the following address:

In the Department for Foreigners of the Mazowieckie Province Office the Department’s Director or his deputy are available in case of interventions, complaints and petitions regarding operations of subordinate organisational units and supervised organisational units on Mondays from 10:00 until 17:00..
